Chardham Yatra Starts: “11 May 2024”
Yamunotri – Gangotri – Kedarnath – Badrinath
Also known as Chota Chardham, Chardham Yatra 2024 is a special trip for people who want to visit holy places in the Himalayas. This journey takes you to four important places: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. These places are very sacred for Hindus.
Yamunotri is where the Yamuna River starts. People come here to see the beautiful nature and take baths in hot springs, which are believed to have special healing powers. Gangotri is where the Ganges River begins. It’s a beautiful place where people pray and feel the presence of God.
Kedarnath is another important place. It has a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Many people visit this temple seeking peace and blessings. Finally, there’s Badrinath, a place dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It’s surrounded by snowy mountains and offers a peaceful environment for prayers and reflection.
In 2024, this journey is even more important because it gives people hope and strength after difficult times. Despite challenges, many people are coming together to go on this spiritual journey, believing it will bring them closer to God and give them peace of mind.
Chardham Yatra from Delhi Itinerary
Day 1 :
Drive from Delhi to Haridwar

In the morning, our driver will meet you at Haridwar Railway Station or your designated pickup point. From there, we will proceed towards Barkot via Mussoorie or Vikas Nagar. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. After refreshing, enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Barkot.
Today, in the early morning, we will head towards Jankichatti or Phoolchatti. Upon arrival, you will begin your trek to Yamunotri, covering a distance of 6km. You have the option to trek on foot or ride a horse or Doli at your own expense. After bathing in the warm waters of Jamnabai Kund and seeking blessings at Yamunaji temple, you will return to Jankichatti by trek. Later, we will drive back to Barkot. Upon reaching the hotel, after freshening up, enjoy dinner and spend the night in Barkot.
After breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel and embark on a drive towards Uttarkashi. En route, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Later, proceed to the hotel, where you will check in upon arrival. After freshening up, enjoy dinner and spend the night in Uttarkashi.
Uttarkashi is renowned for its numerous ashrams and temples, drawing parallels to the city of Kashi (Varanasi) due to its location north of it. Like Varanasi, Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of the River Ganga.
The Vishwanath Temple is among the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India, reconstructed in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in ancient architectural style. Situated at the heart of the town, the temple complex houses a massive iron trident, revered as a symbol of divine motherhood. Other shrines dedicated to Ganesh Ji, Sakshi Gopal, and Markandeya Rishi can also be found within the complex. The temple hosts rituals such as Akhand Jyoti and Akhand Abhishek, along with special morning and evening aarti ceremonies. According to the Skanda Purana, Uttarkashi is known as ‘Saumya Varanasi,’ believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva in Kaliyuga and counted among the twelve Jyotirlingas.
Early in the morning today, we will embark on a drive towards Gangotri. Along the way, we will stop at Gangnani to take a holy dip in the Garam Kund. Continuing our journey, we will drive through the picturesque Harsil Valley, renowned for its natural beauty and stunning views of deodar trees and mountains. Upon reaching the revered Shree Gangotri Temple, we will take a sacred dip in the pristine waters of the Ganges, known as Bhagirathi at its origin. After performing pooja and darshan, take some time to relax amidst the serene surroundings. Later, we will drive back to Uttarkashi. Upon reaching the hotel, freshen up, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in Uttarkashi.
After breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel and proceed to Guptkashi/Sitapur via Ghanshali. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to admire the scenic beauty of the Mandakini River at Tilwara, which originates from Kedarnath. Upon reaching the hotel, check in and freshen up. Later, enjoy dinner and spend the night at Guptkashi/Sitapur.
This morning after breakfast, our driver will take you to Sonprayag, where you'll transfer to a local jeep for Gaurikund. From there, your trek to Kedarnath Ji begins. Upon reaching Kedarnath Ji Mandir, you'll attend the Bhajan Sandhya and stay overnight at Kedarnath.
This morning, we will begin with the darshan of Baba Kedar Ji and then proceed back to Sonprayag by trek. You will meet our driver at Sonprayag, who will then drive us to the hotel in Guptkashi. After refreshing ourselves, dinner will be served, and we will stay overnight in Guptkashi.
After breakfast in the morning, we'll check out from the hotel and proceed to Govindghat via Joshimath. Along the way, we'll visit Shankaracharya Math and Narsingh Temple. Afterward, we'll continue our drive to the hotel. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel, refresh, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in Govindghat.
This morning, we embark on our journey to Shri Badrinath Ji Temple. Upon arrival, we will perform pooja and darshan, and then take some time to explore the surroundings of the temple. Afterward, we will drive back to Govindghat. Upon reaching the hotel, freshen up, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in Govindghat.
This morning, after breakfast, we'll check out from the hotel and commence our journey towards Haridwar via Srinagar. Along the way, we'll visit the confluences of rivers: Nandaprayag, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag. Later, we'll continue our drive to Haridwar for drop-off, carrying cherished memories of our journey.
Day 12 :
Drive from Haridwar to Delhi

- Excludes any international or domestic air or rail tickets.

- Travel or personal health insurance.
- Personal expenses incurred by clients or any additional expenses due to adverse weather conditions.
Important Points to Note
- Check hotel pictures before booking as premiumness may vary on hills.
- Additional costs will be incurred on top of the package cost.
- Biometric registration for the Yatra must be completed by passengers before the Yatra begins as per government guidelines.
- Strict adherence to all timings is required.
- Guests must book a local jeep from Sonprayag to Gaurikund and back to Sonprayag on their own.
- No refund in case of force majeure.
- The company will not be responsible for delays, alterations, or expenses due to natural hazards or unforeseen incidents.
- Meal varieties (Breakfast/Dinner) will be based on the hotel menu.
- Passengers need to leave the hotel by 4 am for the Kedarnath Ji temple trek, which starts around 5 am. They must return before departure the next day, arranging their own pony or Doli at their expense.
- All government norms must be followed.
- Pilgrims found with high temperatures during thermal scanning will not be allowed to visit the shrine, and they will need to undergo a COVID-19 test at their own expense.
- Certain places like Triyuginarayan, Lakha mandal, Auli, etc., are not on the Chardham route. Contact the company directly if you want to include these places.
- Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the court of District Dehradun (Uttarakhand) within 90 days.
- Vaccination certificates or RT-PCR test reports may or may not be required for the tour.
- No refund will be given if a pilgrim leaves the tour midway due to personal reasons.
- Tour destinations/routes cannot change without prior notice.
- Management reserves the right to cancel any service without a refund unless the entire advance amount is received and accepted by the company.
- Most properties have power backup, but geysers may not work on backup power.
- Any unforeseen hike in costs will increase the package cost.
- The company will not be responsible for changes in the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Vehicles will be parked at designated parking areas, and guests must walk to the parking point themselves.
- In case of driver issues, contact the company on the spot.
- Driving is not allowed after 7 PM in the Char Dham sector.
- Traveler registration is mandatory for the Yatra and must be done by the client themselves.
- Passengers can book helicopter tickets through the Chardham Yatra portal.
- Helicopter flying timings may vary due to weather conditions.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your tour or travel services for any reason, please notify us in writing. Cancellation charges will apply from the date we receive your written advice, as follows:
- 60 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour/service cost
- 45 days prior to arrival: 20% of the Tour/service cost
- 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour/service cost
- 07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour/service cost
- Less than 72 hours or no show: No refund will be provided.
