Kedarnath – Badrinath
The Do Dham Yatra is a special journey for Hindus to two holy places in the mountains: Kedarnath and Badrinath. Kedarnath is where people worship Lord Shiva, and it’s way up in the Himalayas. Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is also high in the mountains.
The journey to these places is not easy. Pilgrims have to walk through tough paths and face unpredictable weather. But people do it because they believe it brings them closer to God and helps them find peace.
Usually, the journey starts from Haridwar or Rishikesh and then goes to Kedarnath and Badrinath. Along the way, people pray, meditate, and do rituals. It’s not just a physical journey but also a spiritual one, where people seek a deeper connection with the divine.
The Do Dham Yatra has been happening for a long time, and people from different backgrounds come to take part in it. It’s a way for them to find inner peace and strengthen their faith. Every step of the journey is filled with respect and devotion, making it a meaningful experience for everyone involved.
Do Dham Yatra Itinerary from Delhi
Day 1 :
Arrival in Delhi - Haridwar
Arrive in Delhi and proceed towards Haridwar.
Check-in at the hotel upon arrival and rest for a while.
In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri for the Ganga Aarti ceremony, a mesmerizing ritual on the banks of the Ganges River.
Return to the hotel and stay overnight in Haridwar.
Day 2 :
Haridwar - Guptkashi
After breakfast, depart from Haridwar towards Guptkashi.
Enjoy the scenic drive through the picturesque landscapes of Uttarakhand.
Upon reaching Guptkashi, check-in at the hotel and relax.
Spend the evening exploring the local area or resting at the hotel.
Day 3 :
Guptkashi - Kedarnath Ji
Early morning, start your journey towards Kedarnath Ji.
Depending on the mode of transport chosen (by foot or helicopter), reach Kedarnath by afternoon.
Visit the holy Kedarnath Temple and seek blessings.
After darshan (worship), spend some time exploring the surroundings.
Stay overnight in Kedarnath or nearby.
Day 4 :
Kedarnath-Guptkashi
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Guptkashi.
Depending on the mode of transport chosen, you may reach Guptkashi by late afternoon.
Upon arrival, check back into your hotel and relax.
Spend the evening at leisure or exploring Guptkashi.
After breakfast, depart from Guptkashi towards Joshimath, Govindghat, or Badrinath, based on your preference.
En route, enjoy the breathtaking views of the Himalayas and scenic spots.
Reach your destination by late afternoon and check-in at the hotel.
Spend the evening at leisure, exploring the local market or nearby attractions.
Early morning, visit the sacred Badrinath Temple for darshan and prayers.
Afterward, proceed towards Govindghat, Rudraprayag, or Srinagar, depending on your itinerary.
En route, take breaks at scenic spots and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Reach your destination by late afternoon and check into your hotel.
Spend the evening at leisure, exploring the local area or relaxing.
After breakfast, start your journey back to Rishikesh or Haridwar.

Upon reaching Rishikesh or Haridwar, check-in at the hotel and relax.
Spend the evening exploring the local area or attending Ganga Aarti in Haridwar.
Stay overnight in Rishikesh or Haridwar.
Day 8 :
Rishikesh/Haridwar - Delhi drop
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart for Delhi.
Depending on your schedule, drop-off at your preferred location in Delhi, marking the end of the tour.

Excluded from Package
- Sightseeing to Lakha Mandal, Triyuginarayan, Chopta, Mana, Auli, and Rishikesh available on a direct payment basis.
- Air conditioning is not available in hill areas.
- Air conditioning will be operational until Rishikesh/Dehradun.
- Charges for Pony/Palki/Doli during Kedarnath trek.
- Excludes any international or domestic air or rail tickets.
- Air conditioning in hotels located in hill areas.
- Excludes table drinks.
- Travel or personal health insurance.
- Personal expenses incurred by clients or any additional expenses due to adverse weather conditions.
Important Points to Note
- Check hotel pictures before booking as premiumness may vary on hills.
- Additional costs will be incurred on top of the package cost.
- Biometric registration for the Yatra must be completed by passengers before the Yatra begins as per government guidelines.
- Strict adherence to all timings is required.
- Guests must book a local jeep from Sonprayag to Gaurikund and back to Sonprayag on their own.
- No refund in case of force majeure.
- The company will not be responsible for delays, alterations, or expenses due to natural hazards or unforeseen incidents.
- Meal varieties (Breakfast/Dinner) will be based on the hotel menu.
- Passengers need to leave the hotel by 4 am for the Kedarnath Ji temple trek, which starts around 5 am. They must return before departure the next day, arranging their own pony or Doli at their expense.
- All government norms must be followed.
- Pilgrims found with high temperatures during thermal scanning will not be allowed to visit the shrine, and they will need to undergo a COVID-19 test at their own expense.
- Certain places like Triyuginarayan, Lakha mandal, Auli, etc., are not on the Chardham route. Contact the company directly if you want to include these places.
- Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the court of District Dehradun (Uttarakhand) within 90 days.
- Vaccination certificates or RT-PCR test reports may or may not be required for the tour.
- No refund will be given if a pilgrim leaves the tour midway due to personal reasons.
- Tour destinations/routes cannot change without prior notice.
- Management reserves the right to cancel any service without a refund unless the entire advance amount is received and accepted by the company.
- Most properties have power backup, but geysers may not work on backup power.
- Any unforeseen hike in costs will increase the package cost.
- The company will not be responsible for changes in the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Vehicles will be parked at designated parking areas, and guests must walk to the parking point themselves.
- In case of driver issues, contact the company on the spot.
- Driving is not allowed after 7 PM in the Char Dham sector.
- Traveler registration is mandatory for the Yatra and must be done by the client themselves.
- Passengers can book helicopter tickets through the Chardham Yatra portal.
- Helicopter flying timings may vary due to weather conditions.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your tour or travel services for any reason, please notify us in writing. Cancellation charges will apply from the date we receive your written advice, as follows:
- 60 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour/service cost
- 45 days prior to arrival: 20% of the Tour/service cost
- 15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour/service cost
- 07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour/service cost
- Less than 72 hours or no show: No refund will be provided.
